At our school, all students will be required to join the BYOx program, which involves bringing a laptop to school to enhance their learning experience.
Android devices and Chromebooks are not supported.
Students who bring their own device will:
- Participate in a digital classroom environment, where they can access lesson materials, assessments, and a designated workspace for taking notes, conducting research, and engaging in online learning.
- Use software and processes aligned with industry standards, helping prepare them for future careers and the workforce.
- When applicable, have the chance to receive feedback on their learning and assessments from their teachers.
- Windows laptops must be running Windows 11 for security reasons.
No Chromebooks or Android Devices are accepted.

Joining BYOx Program
- Check your device specifications against our requirements above and found in the Student Enrolment Handbook to ensure your device is compatible. Please note Android devices and Chromebooks are NOT compatible. Devices must have a 5Ghz wireless capable card in order to connect to our network.
Complete the BYOX Charter Agreement and return to school.
