PE4L
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) provides a framework for a whole school evidence-based approach to behaviour support. PBL takes an instructional approach to behaviour, recognising that schools need to teach the behaviours needed for success at school and beyond.
Collingwood Park State Secondary College (CPSSC) use PBL strategies. At CPSSC we refer to PBL as Positive Engagement for Learning (PE4L), as our focus is around engaging students in the learning process.
At CPSSC, we value Perseverance, Achievement, Respect and Kindness. These four values underpin the PE4L expectations at our school.

Effort and Behaviour Awards
At CPSSC, we reward students who demonstrate the CP Way. Students who demonstrate above average Effort (EPA) and Behaviour (BPA) are recognised biannually at our CP Way Award Ceremonies. Parents and guardians are invited to celebrate this achievement, and students are given certificates during the ceremony.
