Drama

Students develop an understanding of the Elements of Music and apply these concepts when creating their own compositions, performing individually and in groups, and analysing a diverse range of musical works. Through structured practical and theoretical learning, students refine their technical skills, aural awareness, and expressive capabilities.

The Visual Art program at Collingwood Park State Secondary College encourages students to explore creativity, personal expression, and critical thinking. Guided by the Australian Curriculum Version 9, students engage with both 2D and 3D artmaking processes across a range of materials, techniques, and artistic styles.
Throughout the course, students learn to Make and Respond—developing practical artmaking skills while also analysing their own work and the work of other artists. They experiment, problem-solve, take creative risks, and develop resilience as they refine ideas and techniques.
Visual Art fosters imagination and innovation, while also helping students build important transferable skills such as visual literacy, reflective thinking, and adaptability. These skills support pathways in design, architecture, film, illustration, and a wide range of creative industries.
